Who is this Dan guy, anyway?

I'm a 29 year old Southern California native, currently residing in Oregon and trying to learn as much as I can about the art of computer animation.

I've always been a creative person at heart, and while I may not be the best artist, I like doodling and animating because it makes me happy. The feeling of breathing life into otherwise dull and inanimate objects is simply amazing to me, and I jump on the opportunity every chance I get. It provides me with the tools to tell a story, and whether or not it's my own tale is irrelevant, as I just enjoy being part of the magic.

In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, movies, television, video games, and quiet nights at home with my wife and cat.
